This could be the result of multiple things.
If the location has the key to the ATM:
- Is the power switch in the top back of the ATM (on the inside of the top compartment) switched on? (it should be red if it’s on).
- Push the red button on the CPU on the left top of the top compartment of the ATM.
- The battery backup (UPS unit) could be switched off, it is located on the bottom of the ATM (sometimes within the safe compartment). There is a button on the front of it.
Note: If the location does not have key we must find out who can make a trip to where the ATM is to open it, power it on, and service it if necessary.
